Z doesn't send CC message (Touch function on XY pad)
Hey, first of all, thanks a lot for your app.
I'm facing an issue where the Z axis that capture when i press the XY pad doesn't send any CC message. I need this CC message to activate my effect simultaneously with the X and Y movements.
Assigning X and Y was really easy, i just had to enter in the MIDI MAP mode of Ableton Live by selecting the VST parameter and send a CC message from my Android tablet by muting the 2 others (for example X & Z) and doing a gesture on the tablet. But Z send nothing...

For the Z axis CC to be sent you must touch with 2 fingers on the 3D Pad.

Yes of course, here's a video that show you the CC value of Z changing in the app but not sending anything to ableton (contrary to XY). I filmed the MIDI part of my screen because it blink if it receive any CC MIDI message, and it doesn't blink here so nothing is send from daw it.

Also i'm wondering if there's another parameter in daw it for a "0 to 1" message. It will be more suitable for my case because i want to replicate what already do the VST when used with my mouse : ON/OFF on "Pad touch" parameter when the mouse is clicked and hold

I did a test on my DAW and all seem OK. I sent CC#1 on X, CC#3 on Y and CC#4 on Z. So I cannot understand what happens from your side

I will try again with different CC values ! Do you have a suggestion about how i can achieve the "ON/OFF" behavior when the XY pad is pressed?
I guess this depends on your DAW. If the DAW receives a CC value greater than 64 this will be the ON and less than 63 will be the OFF.
But of course you understand that it is a bit wierd. I'd use a MIDI button for the ON/OFF.
In DAW IT you can use Pads and Buttons simultaneously by using the AUX panel
You are not alone with Ableton Mapping, it can be a headache to get 3 axes mapping properly on a touch surface if the Z-press is not sending anything! If I have this sort of problem that is hard to solve, I will just take a quick break, take off the DAW and go make a cup of coffee with my hayati refillable pods pods and then come back to work and get the hang of it again.
